Option 4 : 21 ∶ 28

**Given:**

J1 = Value of average marked price per article.

J2 = Value of the sum of selling price of articles S and T.

**Formula used:**

Selling Price = M.P - Discount

**Calculation:**

J1 = Value of marked price of (P + Q + R + S + T + U)/6

⇒ (3500 + 7500 + 8000 + 3800 + 4200 + 4500)/6

⇒ 5250

Selling Price = M.P - Discount

S.P of S = 3800 - 800

⇒ 3000

S.P of T = 4200 - 200

⇒ 4000

J2 = S.P of S and T

⇒ 3000+4000

⇒ 7000

The ratio of J1 and J2

⇒ 5250 : 7000

⇒ 21 : 28

**∴ Option D is correct.**
